Format:
All events will be "First-Match Consolation" (Guaranteed 2 matches)
MS A, MS B, MS C, MS D
WS A, WS B, WS C, WS D
MD A, MD B, MD C, MD D
WD A, WD B, WD C, WD D
XD A, XD B, XD C, XD D
Junior Events
Senior Events

4 events max per participant
- Players cannot play more than 1 singles event
- Players are required to have different partners for different doubles levels
- Players may only play adjacent levels (A and B, B and C, or C and D)
- For doubles events, must have partner (Will not accept TBD or requests)

SKILL LEVEL GUIDE
- A: International/Nationally ranked player, high experience/success in tournaments around the country
- B: Highly experienced tournament player, with moderate success in local tournaments
- C: Intermediate to advanced club player, with moderate experience in tournaments
- D: Beginner, little to no experience in tournaments

THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE HAS THE RIGHT TO CHANGE THE SKILL LEVEL OF THE PLAYER AFTER RESEARCH IF THE COMMITTEE DOES NOT AGREE WITH THE PLAYER'S

Facility will open for participating athletes at 2pm on Friday, 7am on Saturday and Sunday

*RULE FOR JUNIOR EVENTS*
- Junior players must be 15 or younger to participate in this event.

- Junior events are reserved for those who are beginners and do not participate in USAB Junior Tournaments.

- Junior Players are not eligible to participate in other event categories.

(Can only play junior events)

*RULE FOR SENIOR EVENTS*
- Senior players must be at least 50 years of age to participate in this event.
- Senior players are not eligible to participate in other event categories.
(Can only play senior events)

JUNIOR AND SENIOR EVENTS WILL BE CAPPED AT 16 ENTRIES PER EVENT

Prize Pool: $8000
- Prize pool Distribution will be calculated depending on the number of entries per draw
- All A-level main draws will have cash prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place
- All B-Level main draw prizes are TBD
- All C-level main draw prizes are non-cash prizes
- All D-level main draw prizes are non-cash prizes
- All Junior events main draw prizes are non-cash prizes
- All Senior events main draw prizes are non-cash prizes

CONDITIONS:
Tournament-grade shuttles will be used throughout the tournament
Consolation draws will be held except for events that will be changed to round-robin or pools depending on the entry size
All main draw matches will be best of 3 games to Badminton World Federation (BWF)
21-points with rally-point scoring system
A-Level consolation draws will be best of 3 games to Badminton World Federation (BWF)
21-points with rally-point scoring system
B, C, D, Senior, and Junior consolation draw matches will be 1 set to 31, switching sides at 16
A player not ready to play in 10 minutes after his/her match is called may be defaulted
Each player in a doubles event must submit separate entry forms
For events with not enough entries, events will be combined with the nearest group category, will be made unisex, or canceled. If canceled, refunds will be provided
Acceptable badminton clothing must be worn during play
Non-marking shoes are required to play on the courts
CBA Management may deny entries to the tournament

Note: 2025 CBA Open - WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY

1. I risk bodily injury, including paralysis, dismemberment, disability, and death, and while particular rules of the sport, equipment, and discipline may reduce this risk, this risk of injury does exist, as well as the risk of damage to or loss of property.
2. I knowingly and freely assume all such risk; both known and unknown, even if arising from the negligence of the releases of others;
3. I willingly agree to comply with the state and customary terms and conditions for participation. If, however, I observe any unusual or unnecessary hazard during my presence or participation or if I observe any concern in my readiness for participation, I will immediately bring such to the attention of the nearest official and refrain from participation; and
3 A. I, for myself, and on behalf of my heirs, assigns, personal representatives, and next of kin, hereby release, hold harmless, and promise not to sue CFH Sports, LLC, the owners, their sponsors, their officers, volunteers, staff, sponsors, and/or agents, ("releases") with respect to any and all injury and loss arising from my participation, whether caused by the negligence of the releases, the condition of the premises, or otherwise, except that which is the result of gross negligence or wanton misconduct, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. I agree to be bound by the rules and regulations of CFH Sports, LLC and I hereby stipulate that I am eligible to play in the events for which I am applying and that I understand that the above-mentioned make no representation or warranty with respect to the condition of the premises or the operation of the events.
5. I hereby grant to CFH Sports, LLC, its licensees, and contractors including photographers, television and motion picture rights including to film or videotape me during matches, narratives, personal interviews, or comment thereon for any and all commercial, news, or other purposes together with the right to transfer or grant their rights to others, all without remuneration or compensation to me whatsoever.

I have read this Release of Liability and Waiver Agreement, fully understand the terms, understand that I have given up substantial rights by registering for this event, and agree to it freely and voluntarily without any inducement.
