Daytime membership & Drop-in Session @ Gaithersburg

Starting this year, CBA-Gaithersburg is introducing a Weekday Daytime Membership, available from January 20 to June 13, 2025, Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Daytime Membership is priced at $199 per person. If the membership is not suitable for you, you can still opt for the drop-in option at $15 per session.

How to book Drop-in session?

Remember to book your drop-in sessions once you buy the drop-in package.

  • Refund or credit is not allow for last minute cancellation

  • 1 hour in advance for cancellation or reschedule

  • $15 drop-in pay at the front desk

Daytime Membership

Rules and Regulations for Weekday Daytime Membership at CBA-Gaithersburg (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM)

  1. Membership Period

    • The Weekday Daytime Membership is valid from January 20 to June 13, 2025.

    • Membership access is available Monday to Friday, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM only.

  2. Membership Fees

    • The cost of the Daytime Membership is $199 per person for the entire period.

    • Non-members may opt for a drop-in rate of $15 per session.

  3. Access

    • The membership provides access to the designated courts during the specified hours only.

    • Entry outside the stated time frame (11:00 AM to 2:00 PM) is not permitted under this membership.

  4. Court Usage

    • Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis during the daytime hours.

    • Players are encouraged to share courts when demand is high to ensure fair usage for all members.

    • No badminton coaching, private lessons, or shuttlecock feeding is allowed during Daytime Membership hours.

  5. Conduct

    • Members must adhere to CBA's Code of Conduct, which includes respecting other players, maintaining proper sportsmanship, and following facility rules.

    • Smoking, alcohol consumption, and inappropriate behavior are strictly prohibited on the premises.

  6. Cancellation and Refunds

    • No refunds or partial refunds will be issued for unused memberships or missed sessions.

  7. Guest Policy

    • Guests are allowed to play by paying the drop-in rate of $15 per session.

    • Guests must follow all rules and regulations of the facility.

  8. Equipment

    • Members are responsible for bringing their own badminton equipment (rackets, shuttlecocks, etc.).

    • Rental equipment may be available for an additional fee.

  9. Liability

    • CBA is not responsible for any personal injuries, accidents, or loss/damage of personal property during the membership period.

    • Members must sign a waiver of liability before participating in activities.

  10. Termination

  • CBA reserves the right to terminate membership without a refund if a member violates these rules or engages in conduct deemed harmful or disruptive to others.

By purchasing the Weekday Daytime Membership, members agree to abide by these rules and regulations. CBA-Gaithersburg reserves the right to amend these terms as needed to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all.

Rules and Regulation

  • Loaner Racket: $5.00 per racket per day

  • No coaching or any form of training allow during the drop-in sessions.

  • All players are required to check in at the front desk prior to play

  • Session Fees are applied in full whether one drops into a session in its entirety or a portion of it

  • Drop-in fees are non-refundable

  • Singles play only allowed when there are no other players waiting

  • On court warm up time shall not exceed 3 minutes

  • When others are waiting, play is limited to two games to 21 points or 15 minutes (whichever comes first)

  • Players who are waiting have priority over players who just came off the court

  • CBA does not allow black-soled shoes in the gym – no exceptions! 

  • Please bring a pair of indoor court shoes to play.
