FALL JUNIOR TRAINING PROGRAM: GAME DAY
We reserve our gym for Game Day every Tuesday for the PreTeams and every Thursday to all levels from 4 - 6 pm. The purpose of the game days are let trainees have the opportunity to apply what they have been learned from the training and apply their skills during the matches.
BADMINTON FOUR BASIC CYCLE MOVEMENT
Emphasize on basic footwork and have a good recovery (back to neutral position) right after you hit a birdie.
You should place every shot to a spot where it should be far from opponent. Good placement is more important than good quality shots.
Every shot that is being delivered to your opponent side should be aggressive in order to give limited time for them to return the shot back. The aggressive shot is not only smashing, fast clear, and lifting, (Lifting is part of a aggressive shot).
If every shot you make does not go according to your wish, definitely adjust by lowering down the quality of the shot demand and just try to get the birdie over the net with in a decent shot.
